Services and Clients
Keystone's services aim to bring the principles and benefits of stronger accountability to beneficiaries to different kinds of projects and organizations.
We offer 2 types of services:
Facilitation Services
Although our tools can be freely downloaded, we provide facilitation services for adapting and applying elements of the Accountability for Social Impact method. We help organisations to develop a theory of change that acts as a framework for monitoring and learning, to map their activity ecosystem and plan collaborative interventions, to engage effectively and learn with their constituents, and to improve their public reporting practices.
Constituency Voice Services
Keystone believes that the people most affected by an organisation’s work, its primary constituents, have the right for their voice to be heard and to input their views in the way the organisation functions. This impacts positively on organisational performance and effectiveness as primary constituents are best positioned to know what works and what does not work. Based on this belief, Keystone provides innovative services that operate on the principle of Constituency Voice:
- Comparative Constituency Feedback Surveys Feedback from relevant stakeholders can reveal organisational strengths and weaknesses in a very eloquent way, especially if done in a comparative form positioning the organisation in relation to other organisations operating in the same field. Keystone, as an independent agent, conducts anonymous surveys that capture the perception of an organisation’s work by its constituents. The results of the surveys are analysed and presented to the organisation both in absolute and comparative terms, thus enabling organisations to compare their performance over time and against other similar organisations in their field. This generates easy-to-reach learning opportunities.
Developmental Evaluation Services Keystone offers an approach to programme and project evaluation that helps grantmakers and organisations understand their contribution to long term systemic social impact, and helps them build ongoing learning systems.
Validated Impact Reports Public reporting should be more than a mere exercise of accountability to donors in which organisations present self-reported, unverified information that only reflects positive outputs and results. Public reporting presents a key opportunity for social purpose organisations to report back in an honest way and to be held accountable by their constituents, which assess the impact of the organisation’s work and have the power to validate the report. Keystone offers customised services for organisations that want to strengthen their relationships and enhance their effectiveness through learning with their constituents.
We offer our services to three distinct types of organizations:
Our clients and partners are organizations from all these domains that are distinguished for their by innovative leadership. Our services take special attention to the cultures and contexts of our clients, yet build and adapt from our existing approach and off-the-shelf tools.
