Farmer Voice Initiative Awards

Today, ALINe lauched the Farmer Voice Innovation Awards. These awards are for innovations that agencies are using successfully to listen systematically to farmers. The awards are part of ALINe's exciting new Farmer Voice Initiative which will bring together best practice in farmer feedback systems for agricultural development.

ALINe will make up to 10 high profile awards to organisations for innovations in managing farmer voice. Award winners will receive:

    * Recognition as a leading innovator in the field and exposure to influential agencies and donors.
    * An honorarium to write up the innovation and share it with a sector-wide audience.
    * Peer learning opportunities, to learn about emerging best practices with other innovators and help shape the wider debate.
    * Technical input from ALINe to help develop innovations further.
    * In addition, ALINe will offer full evaluations to two award winners.

The awards will be judged by a high level panel overseen by the Director of ALINe, Yvonne Pinto, the Director of the Institute of Development Studies, Lawrence Haddad and the CEO of Keystone, David Bonbright.
