John Goldstein
John Goldstein co-founded Imprint Capital Advisors in June 2007. Previously, Mr. Goldstein was a co-founder of Medley Capital Management (MCM), a private investment firm.
Prior to forming MCM, Mr. Goldstein served as Senior Managing Director of Medley Global Advisors, a leading independent policy intelligence firm. During that time, Mr. Goldstein co-founded and served as the Executive Director of the Medley Institute, where he worked with development actors globally as a board member, senior advisor or team member, including Global Giving, Distributed Capital, the International Interfaith Investment Group (3iG), Keystone/Access, the Sustainable Food Lab, Synergos/Generon/Monitor's Social Capital Market Accelerator, Aquaya, Triple Bottom Line Institute, the Global Exchange for Social Investment, and the United Nations Capital Development Fund.
Prior to that, Mr. Goldstein was a management consultant in the strategy practice of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) Mr. Goldstein was an honors graduate of Yale University where he was awarded the Richter Fellowship and the Townsend Prize.
Peter Hero
Peter Hero is Senior Fellow at the Center for Social Innovation at Stanford University Graduate Business School. From 1988-2006 he was President of Community Foundation Silicon Valley, a $1+ billion regional community foundation. Previous to this, Peter was President of the Maine College of Art.
He is the founding Chairman of the Board of Directors of the PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) Foundation, serves on the Boards of Directors of PBS, Skoll Foundation, Ebay Corporate Foundation, American India Foundation, and chairs the World Bank Advisory Committee on global community foundation development. Peter holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, BA (magna cum laude) and MA in art history from Williams College, and an honorary doctor of laws from the Maine College of Art.
In 2002 Czech republic President Vaclav Havel appointed Peter to the Council of Advisors to the Nato Summit in Prague.
His latest book, Local Mission, Global Vision: Community Foundations in the 21st Century was published by the Foundation Center in New York in 2008.
Eric Kolodner
Eric Kolodner is a lawyer whose career has involved positions in the private sector and non-profit sector. He is currently Associate General Counsel in London at Financial Security Assurance (FSA). Prior to joining FSA, Eric worked in New York and Hong Kong for the law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
Eric’s non-profit experience includes serving as Director of Programs and General Counsel for Trace Foundation, a New York-based organization that funds and operates development projects in minority areas of western China. He has also worked with various other non-profit organizations, including the Ford Foundation and Human Rights Watch.
Eric received both a law degree (J.D.) from New York University (NYU) School of Law and a master's degree (M.P.A) in international affairs from Princeton University in 1995. During his graduate training, Mr. Kolodner served as an editor of the NYU Law School Journal of International Politics and published extensively on matters relating to international law and development. Eric received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in 1988 from Brown University. He is a member of the New York State bar.
